What you need to hire a vehicle

Age Requirements

Drivers must be 25 years or older and must have held a full license for a period of 12 months. Drivers aged 23-24 are able to hire a small or medium-sized van provided they have held a full license for 2 years and have no convictions. There is a daily fee added for drivers aged 23-24 and a damage excess of £1400.

Driving License Requirements

Renters must hold a full valid license and this must have been held for at least 1 year. The license must include the driver's current address. All UK licenses will be checked via the DVLA website, the driver must supply a check code in order to do this. Copies of licenses will not be accepted.
