The Autonomous Emergency Braking system predicts obstacles, even while travelling on extra-urban roads. Thanks to it, the new Avenger can brake automatically to avoid or mitigate collision with preceding vehicles, pedestrians or cyclists. At first, the car alerts the driver with an acoustic and visual warning in the instrument cluster, and if the driver does not respond the car breaks helping to avoid or mitigate potential impact.

Powertrain

The Jeep Avenger is built on a highly versatile platform that adapts to your lifestyle by offering three distinct, "Jeepified" powertrain options, all equipped with standard Selec-Terrain technology to confidently master Normal, Eco, Sport, Snow, Mud, or Sand modes. For zero-emission exploration, the 100% Electric (BEV) flagship pairs a 54 kWh battery with a 156 hp motor to deliver instant torque, 100 kW rapid charging, and a combined WLTP range of up to 248 miles. If you want automated efficiency without ever plugging in, the e-Hybrid (MHEV) seamlessly blends a 100 hp petrol engine with a 48V battery and an electric motor built into a 6-speed automatic gearbox, allowing for silent, purely electric driving during low-speed traffic and parking maneuvers. Finally, for those demanding genuine ruggedness, the 4xe (All-Wheel Drive) powertrain pairs a 136 hp turbocharged petrol engine with two electric motors—one on each axle—providing intelligent, on-demand AWD traction over mud, gravel, or snow without the fuel penalty or weight of a traditional mechanical driveshaft.
